Treatment
Dental Implants
A fixed, natural-feeling replacement for missing teeth.
A gap in your smile changes how you eat, speak and laugh. An implant replaces the whole tooth — root and all — so you can forget it was ever missing.
What is it?
A small titanium post placed where your tooth root used to be, topped with a crown matched to your natural teeth. Once healed, it looks, feels and works like your own tooth.
Is it for you?
- You're missing one or more teeth, or facing an extraction
- You want a fixed alternative to a denture or bridge
- You'd like loose dentures anchored securely (implant-retained dentures)
The process
How it works
Every step, up front — so nothing about your visit is a surprise.
Consultation & 3D planning
We scan and plan your implant digitally before anything touches your mouth — you'll see the plan and the price up front.
Gentle placement
The implant is placed under local anaesthetic (sedation available if you're nervous). Most people are surprised how uneventful it is.
Healing
Over a few months the implant fuses with your jaw. You'll have a temporary tooth in the meantime — never a gap.
Your new tooth
A custom crown is fitted, shade-matched to your smile. Then you just… use it.

FAQs
Common questions
The questions I'm asked most about this treatment.
Does getting an implant hurt?
Placement is done under local anaesthetic, so you shouldn't feel pain — most patients say it's easier than an extraction. If you're anxious, I offer sedation so the whole visit drifts by.
How long do implants last?
With good hygiene and regular check-ups, implants routinely last decades. I'll show you exactly how to care for yours.
Am I suitable if I've been told I have bone loss?
Often, yes — bone grafting and careful 3D planning make implants possible for many people who were previously told no. A scan gives us the real answer.
Fees start from from £2,500 per implant. Every plan is bespoke and quoted in writing.
